Headlamp Bulb
HEADLAMP BULBRemoval and Installation
High and low beam bulbs
1. Remove the headlamp assembly.
Low beam bulb only
2. Remove the 4 low beam access cover screws.
3. Remove the low beam access cover and seal.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector.
WARNING: The headlamp bulb contains gas under pressure. The bulb may shatter if the glass envelope is scratched or if the bulb is dropped. Handle the bulb only by its base. Avoid touching the glass envelope. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
NOTE: The headlamp bulb should not be removed from the headlamp until just before a new bulb is installed. Removing the bulb for an extended period of time may affect headlamp bulb performance. Contaminants may enter the headlamp with the bulb removed from the headlamp.
5. Remove the bulb.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
High beam bulb only
7. Remove the 4 high beam access cover screws.
8. Remove the high beam access cover and seal.
9. Disconnect the electrical connector.
