SQUEAK IN AREA OF DOOR LATCH

LINCOLN:
2005 LS

ISSUE
Some 2005 Lincoln LS vehicles may exhibit a squeak or creaking noise from the door latch area. The noise may occur when opening or closing the door, and also while driving over rough road surfaces or bumps.

ACTION
Grease the door latch on all four (4) doors. Apply Motorcraft Multi-Purpose Grease (XG-4) to the moving parts of the door latch, while moving/operating the latch. This will ensure good coverage.
