Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.





2. Using the special tool, install the engine assembly in the vehicle.





3. NOTE: When the vehicle is raised, verify that the torque converter is correctly seated.

Install the four bolts and one stud.





4. Install the bolts.
5. Attach the wiring harness to the retainers on the transmission.





6. Connect the OSS sensor, TR sensor and the TSS sensor electrical connectors.





7. Connect the Heated Oxygen (H02S) sensor and the solenoid body sensor electrical connectors.
8. Raise the transmission and install the transmission insulator.





9. Install the insulator nuts.





10. Install the insulator bolts.





11. Using the special tool, install the LH H02S.





12. Connect the LH H02S electrical connector.
13. Connect the RH H02S electrical connector.





14. Install the four torque converter nuts.
^ Rotate the crankshaft to access the nuts.





15. Install the rubber access plug.





16. Install the inspection cover and the bolts.





17. Install the starter motor and the bolts.





18. Connect the starter electrical connections and install the nuts.
^ Install the solenoid terminal cover.





19. Position the exhaust, install the four nuts and remove the support.





20. Install the power steering pump and the bolts.





21. Install the A/C compressor and the bolts.





22. Connect the A/C compressor electrical connector.





23. Connect the engine wiring harness retainers to the A/C compressor.





24. Connect the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor electrical connector.





25. Position the transmission oil cooler tubes and install the bolt.





26. Install the transmission cooler tube support bracket and the nut.





27. Install the power steering tube bracket and the nut
