MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT (MIL) - MULTIPLE
DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) AND/OR
POSSIBLE LOW BATTERY RATE OF CHARGE

ISSUE
Some 2005 Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis and Lincoln Town Car vehicles may exhibit one or more of the following DTCs, P0316, P030X and P0606. This calibration also includes a strategy to optimize the battery charging capability.

ACTION
Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 47.9 and higher or 48.2 and higher. This new calibration is not included in the VCM 2007.3 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
