Normal Operation
The alarm system can be suspended for the luggage compartment lid by using the luggage compartment lid disarm switch. The switch position is monitored by the rear electronic module (REM). The luggage compartment lid disarm switch is deactivated when circuit 8-GL27 (WH/BU) is grounded through circuit 31-GL27 (BK/OG).

Possible Causes
- circuit 8-GL27 (WH/BU) open or short to ground
- circuit 31-GL27 (BK/OG) open
- luggage compartment lid disarm switch
- REM
