Test Z: The Instrument Cluster Is Inoperative
PINPOINT TEST Z: THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER IS INOPERATIVEZ1:
Z1-Z3:
Normal Operation
With the ignition switch in the START or RUN position, the instrument cluster receives voltage from the central junction box (CJB) through circuits 15-GG14 (GN/RD) and 15-JA14 (GN/BK). When the ignition switch is in the RUN or ACC position, voltage is received from the CJB through circuit 75-GG15 (YE/GN). With the ignition switch in the OFF position, the instrument cluster receives its keep-alive voltage from the CJB through circuits 29-GG11 (OG/BU), and 29-AL12 (OG). The instrument cluster grounding is accomplished through circuit 91-GG11 (BN/RD), and circuit 31-AL11 (BK).
