Normal Operation
Battery voltage is supplied to the SSP relays through the battery junction box (BJB). Ground for the SSP relay coils is controlled by the front electronic module (FEM) and the rear electronic module (REM) through the following circuits: 31S-DG51 (BK/YE), 31S-DG55 (BK/RD), 31S-DG57 (BK/YE), 31S-DG53 (BK/OG), 31S-DK21 (BK/WH) and 31S-DK30 (BK/OG). All of these circuits are spliced together so that either the FEM or the REM can ground this circuit and energize the SSP relays.
