Removal and Installation
1. Remove the clamp and disconnect the air cleaner outlet pipe from the air cleaner assembly.
- To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).

2. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) electrical connector.
3. Remove the bolt and the air cleaner assembly.
- To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).

4. NOTE: The air cleaner assembly must be removed to service the air filter element.

If necessary, release the snaps and separate the air cleaner cover from the air cleaner tray to service the element.

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Use the alignment tabs to correctly align the air cleaner cover to the air cleaner tray if removed.
