Rear Axle Housing Support Insulator

Removal

NOTE: The procedure to remove the rear axle housing support insulator from the axle or the frame is the same.

1. Remove the axle assembly.





2. Using the special tool, remove the rear axle housing support insulator from the axle.

Installation





1. NOTE: Install the rear axle housing support insulator into the frame with the rubber legs positioned vertically.

Insert the rear axle housing support insulator and make sure the notches are aligned 45 degrees from a forward and aft location.





2. Using the special tool, install the rear housing support insulator.
3. Install the axle assembly.
