Roof Opening Panel Frame

ROOF OPENING PANEL FRAME

Removal
1. Remove the headliner.
2. Disconnect the 2 front and the 2 rear roof opening panel drain hoses.
3. Disconnect the roof opening panel motor electrical connector.

4. CAUTION: Support the roof opening panel frame to prevent the unit from dropping.

Remove the 8 bolts and the roof opening panel frame and trough assembly.

5. Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 roof opening panel securing straps.

Installation
1. Position the 2 roof opening panel securing straps and loosely install the 2 bolts to the roof opening panel frame.
2. Install the roof opening panel frame and trough assembly.







3. Loosely install the 6 roof opening panel frame bolts and tighten in the sequence shown.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

4. Install the 2 remaining roof opening panel frame bolts.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

5. Tighten the 2 roof opening panel frame securing strap bolts.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

6. Connect the roof opening panel motor electrical connector.
7. Connect the 2 front and the 2 rear roof opening panel drain hoses.
8. Install the headliner.
9. Align the roof opening panel glass.
