Normal Operation
The battery junction box (BJB) supplies voltage to the roof opening panel motor through circuit 931 (OG) and 1499 (PK/LG) when the ignition key is in the ACC or RUN position. The roof opening panel motor is grounded through circuit 57 (BK). When the roof opening panel switch is pressed it connects circuit 57 (BK) to circuit 1174 (WH/RD) for OPEN/TILT DOWN or circuit 1175 (TN/RD) for CLOSE/TILT UP.
Possible Causes
- fuse(s)
- circuit 57 (BK) open
- circuit 931 (OG) open
- circuit 1174 (WH/RD) open or short to ground
- circuit 1175 (TN/RD) open or short to ground
- circuit 1499 (PK/LG) open
- roof opening panel control switch
- roof opening panel motor
