Normal Operation
The lumbar control switch is powered by battery voltage to circuit 566 (DG) and ground to circuit 57 (BK). The lumbar switch toggles voltage and ground directly to the lumbar motor circuits 1094 (PK) and 1097 (BN). The lumbar motor tightens or relaxes a cable connector to the lumbar adjuster.
Possible Causes
An inoperative power lumbar can be caused by:
- a faulty circuit breaker.
- a faulty circuit.
- a faulty lumbar control switch.
- a faulty lumbar assembly.
