MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT (MIL) ON MULTIPLE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)

2006-2007 Town Car

MERCURY:
2006-2007 Grand Marquis

ISSUE
Some 2007 Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis and Lincoln Town Car vehicles may exhibit a customer shift complaint and/or one or more of the following DTCs, P0171, P0174, P0316, PO3OX, P0606, P0480, P0446, and P1235. Additionally, some 2006 Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis and Lincoln Town Car Vehicles may exhibit one or more of the following codes, P0171, P0174, P0316, P030X, and P0606.

ACTION
Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 46.7 and higher. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.

WARRANTY STATUS: Eligible Under Provisions Of New Vehicle Limited Warranty Coverage
