Normal Operation
The exterior mirror control switch is supplied voltage from the central junction box (CJB) through circuit 1524 (DB) and grounds through circuit 57 (BK). For vehicles not equipped with memory mirrors, the exterior mirror control switch activates the LH exterior mirror by switching voltage and ground through circuits 942 (RD/OG) (mirror right/left), 940 (DB/OG) (mirror up/down), and 945 (YE/BK). The switch activates the RH exterior mirror by switching voltage and ground through circuits 944 (DG/OG) (mirror right/left), 943 (VT/OG) (mirror up/down), and 945 (YE/BK). Circuit 945 (YE/BK) is a common ground for both mirrors and all positions. For vehicles equipped with memory mirrors, the exterior mirror control switch activates the mirrors by switching voltage and ground through circuits 942 (RD/OG) (LH right/left movement), 940 (DB/OG) (LH up/down movement), 944 (DG/OG) (RH right/left movement), 943 (VT/OG) (RH up/down movement), and 945 (YE/BK) to the driver door module (DDM). The DDM interprets the voltage and ground inputs and sends a signal over the standard corporate protocol (SCP) network to the driver seat module (DSM). The DSM is hardwired to the exterior mirror motors through circuits 543 (DG) (RH right movement), 953 (WH/VT) (RH down movement), 544 (VT) (RH up movement), 952 (WH/LG) (RH left movement), 540 (RD) (LH right movement), 948 (YE/LB) (LH down movement), 541 (DB/YE) (LH up movement), and 947 (YE/RD) (LH left movement).

Possible Causes
