Flex Plate: Service and Repair

Removal
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
2. Remove the transmission.
3. Remove the 6 bolts and the flexplate.

Installation





1. Position the flexplate and loosely install the 6 bolts. Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown to 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the transmission.
