Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc: Description and Operation

AUDIO SYSTEM

Normal Operation
The audio system is enabled when the key is in RUN or ACC. The accessory delay function allows the audio unit to be operated for a preset period of time after the key has been turned to OFF and a front door has not been opened.

The speakers are powered either directly by the audio unit (all except THX(R)) or by the audio amplifiers (THX(R)). The subwoofers are powered by their own amplifier (Audiophile) or by the audio amplifiers (THX(R)).

- THX(R) Sound
- AM/FM 6-CD changer with MP3 audio unit
- 12 speakers (includes subwoofers and center front/rear speakers)
- Digital signal processing (DSP) module
- 2 amplifiers

- Navigation audio unit
- THX(R) sound system
