Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector and wiring harness retainer.
3. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the air cleaner outlet pipe from the air cleaner.
- To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).

4. Remove the 3 bolts from the air cleaner assembly.
- To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).

5. Separate the 2 air cleaner feet from the rubber grommets and the air cleaner inlet pipe and remove the air cleaner assembly.

6. NOTE:
- Make sure that the 2 air cleaner feet are seated into the rubber grommets under the air cleaner assembly.
- The air cleaner outlet pipe should be securely sealed to prevent unmetered air from entering the engine.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
