PINPOINT TEST H: NAVIGATION SYSTEM DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY - THE AUDIO UNIT IS INOPERATIVE

Normal Operation
The navigation module communicates with the audio unit through circuits 1532 (DB/WH) and 1533 (DG/OG) using the controller area network (CAN) protocol. Battery voltage is supplied to the audio unit through circuit 1772 (VT), and circuit 1499 (PK/LG) provides voltage to the audio unit with the key in the ON or ACC position. The audio unit ground is provided through circuit 694 (BK/LG).

DTC B2208 - sets when there is a communication error between the navigation module and the audio unit.

Possible Causes
- Fuse
- Circuit 694 (BK/LG) open
- Circuit 1499 (PK/LG) open
- Circuit 1532 (DB/WH) open, short to ground or voltage
- Circuit 1533 (DG/OG) open, short to ground or voltage
- Circuit 1772 (VT) open
- Audio unit
- Navigation module
