Removal and Installation
NOTE: Prior to removal of the module, it is necessary to upload module configuration information to a scan tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once installed.
1. NOTE: A new rear audio/climate control module is delivered in a manufacturing mode with a pre-set DTC of B2477 (Module Configuration Failure). This DTC will clear when the module has been successfully configured (or PMI). The DTC B2477 may need to be cleared after a successful configuration (or PMI).
Remove the rear seat backrest.
2. Drill out the 2 rivets and remove the rear audio/climate control module.
3. NOTE: Once the new module is installed, it is necessary to download the module configuration information from the scan tool into the new module.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
