Normal Operation
The DSM communicates with the scan tool through the standard corporate protocol (SCP) communication network. Circuits 914 (TN/OG) (SCP +) and 915 (PK/LB) (SCP-) provide the network connection to the DSM. The DSM shares the SCP network with the lighting control module (LCM), the rear audio/climate control module (if equipped), the driver door module (DDM) (if equipped), the navigation module (if equipped), the electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) module and the instrument cluster. Voltage for the DSM is provided by circuit 1524 (DB). Circuit 676 (PK/OG) provides ground.
