Suspension Control Module: Service and Repair

AIR SUSPENSION MODULE

Removal and Installation

NOTE: Prior to removal of the module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to a scan tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once installed.

1. NOTE: A new air suspension module is delivered in a manufacturing mode with a pre-set DTC of B2477 (Module Configuration Failure). This DTC will clear when the module has been successfully configured (or PMI). The DTC B2477 may need to be cleared after a successful configuration (or PMI).

Remove the 2 pin-type retainers from the instrument panel lower insulator and position the insulator aside.

2. Disconnect the power point electrical connector, the footwell lamp and remove the panel.
3. Disconnect the air suspension module electrical connectors.
4. Release the spring clips to remove the module from the bracket.

5. NOTE: Once the new module is installed, it is necessary to download the module configuration information from the scan tool into the new module.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
