The power seat should move quietly during operation. Some noise is acceptable.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Seat track alignment
- Seat track obstruction
- Seat track



PINPOINT TEST C: THE POWER SEAT MOVES BUT IS NOISY

C1 CHECK SEAT TRACK ALIGNMENT


- Check alignment of the seat track to the floor and to the seat.
- Is seat track alignment OK?

Yes
IDENTIFY the cause for customer concern and REPAIR as necessary. TEST the system for normal operation.

No
ALIGN the seat track correctly. TEST the system for normal operation.
