Seat Cushion - Front

NOTE: Driver seat shown. For disassembly and assembly of the passenger seat cushion, refer to Occupant Classification Sensor (OCS) procedure in Air Bag Systems.










Disassembly

All seats

1. Remove the seat. For additional information, refer to Seat - Front Seat - Front.

Passenger seat

2. Remove the Occupant Classification Sensor (OCS) system components. For additional information, refer to Air Bag Systems.

All seats

3. Remove the seat backrest. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest - Front Seat Backrest - Front.

4. Remove the seat track. For additional information, refer to Seat Track Seat Track.

5. If equipped, disconnect the heated seat electrical connector.

6. Detach and route out the wiring harness.
- Note wiring harness routing for assembly.

7. Release the J-clips.





8. If equipped, remove the power lumbar switch.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.

- Insert a suitable tool between the bezel and power lumbar switch.

- Pry the tab and push the switch through the bezel.





9. Separate the seat cushion frame from the foam pad and trim cover.

10. Remove the hog rings and cushion trim cover.
- Cut and discard the hog rings.
- Note location and quantity of hog rings for assembly.





11. Remove the 2 pin-type retainers and mat.

12. Remove the cushion support.

Assembly

Passenger seat

1. Install the OCS system components. For additional information, refer to Occupant Classification Sensor procedure in Air Bag Systems.

All seats

2. Install the cushion support.

3. Position the mat over the cushion support and install the 2 pin-type retainers.

4. Install the cushion trim cover to the foam pad.
- Install new hog rings at locations noted during disassembly.





5. Position the cushion foam pad and trim cover to the seat cushion frame.

6. If equipped, install the power lumbar switch and connect the electrical connector.

7. Attach the wiring harness and route as noted during disassembly.

8. Fasten the J-clips.





9. If equipped, connect the heated seat electrical connector.

10. Install the seat track. For additional information, refer to Seat Track Seat Track.

11. Install the seat backrest. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest - Front Seat Backrest - Front.

12. Install the seat. For additional information, refer to Seat - Front Seat - Front.
