Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) Module

Removal and Installation










Without Navigation System










With Navigation System









NOTE: The HVAC module on vehicles not equipped with the navigation system option is serviced as an assembly with the message center buttons and finish panel. The HVAC module on vehicles equipped with the navigation system option is a stand-alone remote module located under the floor console front finish panel below the Audio Control Module (ACM). The climate control interface buttons are part of the Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) and are serviced separately from the HVAC module.

All vehicles

1. Remove the RH instrument panel finish moulding.

2. Remove the LH and RH floor console finish mouldings.

3. Remove the floor console finish panel.

4. Remove the 2 selector lever trim panel screws.

5. Remove the 4 floor console cup holder screws and the cup holder.

Vehicles without navigation system

6. Position the selector lever trim panel rearward to detach it from the HVAC module.

7. Remove the 6 HVAC module screws and position the HVAC module to allow access to the electrical connectors.

8. Disconnect the 3 HVAC module electrical connectors and remove the HVAC module.

Vehicles with navigation system

9. Position the selector lever trim panel rearward to detach it (2 clips) from the floor console front finish panel.

10. Remove the 4 floor console front finish panel screws and the panel.

11. Remove the 2 HVAC module screws.

12. Disconnect the 2 HVAC module electrical connectors and remove the HVAC module.

All vehicles

13. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
