DA - ACT and ECT Sensors

Enter this Pinpoint Test only when a service code 21, 24, 51, 54, 61 or 64 is received during Quick Test.

This Pinpoint Test is only intended to diagnose the following:

1. ACT sensor.
2. ECT sensor.
3. Harness circuits: ACT, ECT, SIG RTN.
4. ECA computer processor.

To prevent replacement of good components, be aware that these non-EEC areas may be faulty:

1. Coolant level.
2. Cooling system.
3. Water pump drive belt.
4. Engine operating temperature.
5. Engine oil level.
6. Thermostat.
7. Heat stove duct valve operation.
8. Air cleaner duct.
9. Ambient temperature.
