P - Spark Timing Check

Enter this Pinpoint Test only when checking computed timing in response to service code 18 received during Quick Test.

This Pinpoint Test is only intended to diagnose the following:

1. Base timing.
2. Harness circuit: SAW.
3. ECA computer processor.

To prevent replacement of good components, be aware that these non-EEC areas may be faulty:

1. Engine mechanical problems.
2. EDIS module.
3. Variable reluctance sensor (VRS).
