USING THE A/C FILTER KIT WHEN - REPLACING THE COMPRESSOR

DESCRIPTION

When installing a replacement A/C compressor, an A/C filter kit must also be installed. This kit cleans the refrigerant and removes any debris or contaminants which may damage the replacement compressor. Using the kit will help prevent repeat compressor failure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

Carefully follow all installation instructions that come with the A/C filter kit.

(1) The A/C filter kit comes with the following:

- installation instructions

- 1 suction filter - to be permanently installed on vehicle

- 1 pancake filter - to be discarded after the A/C system has been filtered

- 2 A/C hose clamps

- 4 o-rings - for the suction filter
