Slipping or Soft Shifts After Rebuild

""A missing plug retainer can cause low line pressure"!




The clip that holds the cut back valve plug can easily fall out while cleaning. If the retainer falls out the cut back valve & plug can move out of position causing a loss of T.V. pressure. Use some assembly grease to hold this retainer in place during reassembly of the valve body.
