DESCRIPTION

Running boards which are incorrectly installed may result in noise/vibration.


INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATIONS

Install running boards to either the body or the frame. Never install the running boards to both the body and the frame unless the mounting system uses isolated mounts. The manufacturer's instruction to install running boards to both the body and the frame should be questioned as this provides a direct path from the chassis to the body for road noise and vibration, and may result in customer dissatisfaction.
