Speed Control Operation Is Intermittent

1. Ensure there is proper vacuum to servo. If satisfactory, proceed to step 2. If not satisfactory, service vacuum supply as needed.
2. Perform servo (throttle actuator) assembly test. If results are satisfactory, substitute known good amplifier. If not satisfactory, replace servo assembly.
3. Perform control switch and circuit test. If not satisfactory, replace horn pad assembly. Clean or service copper brushes and steering wheel ring.
