Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

Neutral Sensing Switch:

1. Place transmission in any position other than neutral and disconnect switch electrical connector.
2. Remove switch from transmission shift cover.
3. Install new switch and tighten to 8 - 12 ft.lb (11 - 16 Nm).
4. Reconnect electrical plug.
