Cruise Control Module: Service and Repair

The amplifier is located above to glove compartment.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Open glove compartment and depress compartment sides to allow it to rotate downward beyond rubber stops.
3. Remove glove compartment courtesy lamp, if equipped. Remove amplifier and bracket attaching screws from instrument panel, then amplifier to bracket two attaching screws.
4. Disconnect amplifier electrical connector, then remove amplifier.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
