Instrument Cluster / Carrier: Service and Repair

1. Remove lower instrument panel cover and reinforcement.
2. Remove center trim finish panel.
3. Remove cluster finish panel.
4. Disconnect light switch and dimmer light connectors.
5. Remove instrument cluster mounting screws and bolts.
6. Disconnect shift indicator from cluster.
7. Disconnect connectors from instrument cluster.
8. Remove instrument cluster.
9. Install in reverse order of removal.

Disassembly/Assembly
1. Remove in the order shown in the figure.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION
^ Tachometer is calibrated at factory. Excessive rough handling could disturb calibration.

NOTE
^ Replacement of the anti-slosh module (fuel gauge amplifier) requires replacement of the fuel gauge assembly.
