Pinpoint Test 1

Flow Chart No. 1 - Symptom - Turn signal/hazard flasher lamps inoperative.

Step 1
Flasher unit ground.




1. Check for continuity between flasher unit connector ground terminal (B) and clean chassis ground.




2. Is there continuity?

Step 2
Circuit protection.




1. Check Fuses 21 and 22.

NOTE
^ If Fuse 21 is blown, it may have affected hazard warning operation.




2. Are fuses blown?

Step 3
Isolate flasher unit.
1. Substitute known good flasher unit.




2. Do turn signals and hazard lamps operate?
