Flow Chart No. 7 - Symptom - Individual stoplamp inoperative.

Step 1
Bulb and socket.
1. Remove bulb, then inspect bulb for broken filament. Check bulb socket for corrosion or damage.




2. Are bulb and socket serviceable?

Step 2
Battery feed to stoplamp.




1. Disconnect wiring at lamp, then have an assistant depress brake pedal.
2. Check for battery voltage at connector feed terminal (LG).




3. Is voltage present?

Step 3
Stoplamp ground.




1. Check for continuity between connector ground terminal (B) and clean chassis ground.




2. Is there continuity?
