Four Wheel Drive Selector Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove the 4x4 shift control switch and disconnect the connector from the switch.
2. Check the resistance between the terminals of the switch. Resistance:
Between terminals (A)-(D) always approximately 18 ohms.
Between terminals (B)-(C):
^ 2WD-approximately 3.9 kilo ohms
^ 4x4 HIGH-approximately 1.1 kilo ohms
^ 4x4 LOW-approximately 360 ohms
3. If not as specified, replace the 4x4 shift control switch.
