Flow Chart No. 3 - Symptom - Window stuck/binding.

Step 1
Check for obstruction.
1. Inspect glass run for foreign objects or debris.
2. Inspect inside of door for possible obstruction of window regulator movement.




3. Is there a door glass obstruction?

Step 2
Lubrication check.
1. Observe window movement to determine if condition is caused by lack of lubrication. Make sure there are no damaged, loose or misaligned parts.




2. Is there a lubrication concern?

Step 3
Door weatherstrip check.
1. Inspect both inner and outer weatherstrip for proper installation.




2. Is there a weatherstrip concern?

Step 4
Check door glass run retainer and window regulator.
1. Inspect door glass run retainers inside the door for proper installation and alignment.
2. Inspect window regulator for proper installation.




3. Is there a concern?
