SEAT REAR - 4-DOOR, CAB PLUS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION






Removal and Installation






1. Remove the rear seat covers.
1. Remove the jack cover.
2. Remove the pin-type retainer.
3. Remove the outboard trim cover.
4. Remove the inboard cover.






2. Remove the safety belt anchor bolt and safety belt retractor.

Tightening Torque: 40 Nm (4.1 kgf-m, 30 ft-lbf)

3. Remove the 5 frame-to-floor bolts and remove the rear seat.

Tightening Torque:
25 Nm (2.5 kgf-m, 18 ft-lbf) (vehicles built through 12/2005)
23 Nm (2.3 kgf-m, 17 ft-lbf) (vehicles built after 12/2005)

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
5. Make sure the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants after installation.
Verify the safety belt retractor operates without excessive effort or binding.
