PINPOINT TEST 3: TPMS INDICATOR FLASHES WHEN THE IGNITION KEY IS TURNED TO THE ON POSITION AND DTC B2872 IS PRESENT

Normal Operation
If there is a fault in the TPMS system, such as a damaged or sensor(s), damaged module or a communication issue within the vehicle. DTCs are set in the SJB, the TPMS indicator will illuminate and the message center (if equipped) will display the TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR FAULT.

Possible Causes
^ TPMS sensor(s)
^ Vehicle communication issue
^ SJB

Note:
^ If a warranty case is opened for an actual (TPMS) fault, document and include the actual tire pressure data in all warranty communications.
