HOOD ADJUSTMENTGap Adjustment
1. Measure the gap between the hood and body.
Standard clearance
a: 0.0-3.6 mm {0.00-0.14 in}
b: -1.5-2.5 mm {-0.05-0.09 in}
c: -2.0-2.2 mm {-0.07-0.07 in}
d: 0.6-2.0 mm {0.02-0.07 in}
e: -1.0-1.0 mm {-0.03-0.03 in}
f: -1.5-1.5 mm {-0.05-0.054 in}
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the following parts:
1. Windshield wiper arm and blade.
2. Cowl grill.
4. Loosen the hood hinge installation bolts and adjust the hood.
5. Tighten the bolts.
