PINPOINT TEST 6: DTC B1485: BRAKE PEDAL INPUT CIRCUIT BATTERY SHORT

Normal Operation

Fused battery voltage is provided to the brake pedal position (BPP) switch from smart junction box (SJB) fuse 32 (5A) along circuit (V/R). When the brake pedal is pressed, this voltage is sent to the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module along circuit (BR/G).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Fuse
- Wiring, terminals or connectors

CAUTION:Use the Flex Probe Kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multimeter probes.
