SEAT REAR - 4-DOOR, CAB PLUS REMOVAL / INSTALLATION









Removal and Installation





1. Remove the rear seat covers.
1 Remove the jack cover.
2 Remove the pin-type retainer.
3 Remove the outboard trim cover.
4 Remove the inboard cover.






1. Remove the safety belt anchor bolt and safety belt retractor.Tightening Torque:40 Nm {4.1 kgf-m, 30 ft-lbf}

2. Remove the 5 frame-to-floor bolts and remove the rear seat.Tightening Torque:25 Nm {2.5 kgf-m, 18 ft-lbf} (vehicles built through 12/2005)23 Nm {2.3 kgf-m, 17 ft-lbf} (vehicles built after 12/2005)

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

4. Make sure the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants after installation.Verify the safety belt retractor operates without excessive effort or binding.
