Air Door: Service and Repair

AIR INLET DUCT DOOR REMOVAL / INSTALLATION

1. Remove the plenum chamber. See Plenum Chamber Removal / Installation.

2. Remove the screws from the air inlet duct door vacuum control motor and disconnect the vacuum hose.
Tightening Torque
2-3 Nm { 20-30 kgf-cm, 18-26 in-lbf }.

3. Rotate the vacuum control motor up, disengage the lever and remove the vacuum control motor.

4. Remove the screws and remove the air inlet duct cover.
Tightening Torque
2-3 Nm { 20-30 kgf-cm, 18-26 in-lbf }.






1. Remove the pin and remove the air inlet duct door.

- Lubricate all hoses and fittings.

2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
