Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

ENGINE AIR CLEANER REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - 4.0L

1. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the engine air cleaner (ACL) outlet pipe from the air cleaner outlet Tightening torque:3 Nm {0.3 kgf-m, 27 in-lbf}

2. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.

NOTE:Pry the ACL from the base.Remove the ACL assembly.

NOTE:Clean the engine air cleaner with a dry, clean cloth.To install, reverse the removal procedure.
