Dashboard Removal/Installation




DASHBOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the following parts:
a. Console panel Console Panel Removal/Installation

b. Console Console Removal/Installation

c. Front scuff plate inner Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

d. Front side trim Front Side Trim Removal/Installation

e. Dashboard under cover

f. Glove compartment Service and Repair

g. Hood release lever Service and Repair

h. Lower panel Lower Panel Removal/Installation

i. Center panel Center Panel Removal/Installation

j. Audio unit Audio Unit Removal/Installation

k. Climate control unit Climate Control Unit Removal/Installation [Full-Auto Air Conditioner] Climate Control Unit Removal [Manual Air Conditioner] Climate Control Unit Installation [Manual Air Conditioner]

l. Knee bolster Knee Bolster Removal/Installation

m. Meter hood Meter Hood Removal/Installation

n. Column cover Service and Repair

o. Instrument cluster Removal and Replacement

p. Driver-side air bag module Driver-Side Air Bag Module Removal/Installation

q. Steering wheel Service and Repair

r. Combination switch Removal and Replacement

s. Steering shaft Service and Repair

t. A-pillar lower trim A-Pillar Lower Trim Removal/Installation

u. A-pillar trim A-Pillar Trim Removal/Installation

3. Disconnect the dashboard harness connectors.

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.










5. Remove in the order indicated in the figure.

Dashboard Removal Note

WARNING:
- Removing the dashboard without supporting it can be dangerous. the dashboard may fall and injure you. Always perform the following procedure with at least another person.

1. Take the dashboard out through the opened front driver-side door.

Airflow mode actuator connector Disassembly Note

1. Disconnect the connector by pulling it in direction (2) while pressing the tab in direction (1).
