BUGS IN REAR COMBINATION LIGHT

DESCRIPTION





Some vehicles may exhibit bugs entering the rear combination light through a hole on the back side of the light.

Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Verify customer concern.

2. Remove rear combination light according to Workshop Manual (section 09-18 REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).

3. Attempt to remove bug(s) from inside light.

- If bug(s) can be removed, install a newly established (enlarged) gasket onto rear of combination light before re-installing light.

- If bug(s) cannot be removed, order a replacement rear combination light and install a newly established (enlarged) gasket onto rear of combination light before installing new light.

4. Gasket Installation:





a. Cut off pad at back of rear combination light.





b. Attach gasket to rear combination light.





5. Repeat Steps 2 - 4 on opposite side combination light.

6. Verify repair.
