      Lubricate all locks and hinges.

    Drum Brake System
    Disc Brake System
Tighten/Torque
    Body and Frame
      Or every 12 months, whichever occurs first. Check all chassis/body nuts and bolts, torque as necessary.

    Valve Clearance
    Idle Speed
      This maintenance operation is recommended by Mazda.
Inspect
    Power Brake Assist
      Inspect power brake unit and hoses.
    Heating and Air Conditioning
      Inspect system for leaks and proper compressor operation.

    Brake Pedal Assy
      Inspect brake pedal, clutch pedal and parking brake.
    Brake Hose/Line
      Inspect brake line hoses and connections.
    Brake Fluid
      Where there has been continuous hard driving, mountain driving, or where the brakes are used extensively or the vehicle is operated in extremely humid climates, the brake fluid should be changed annually.
    Air Filter Element
      Or every 30 months, whichever occurs first. Extremely dusty conditions may require more frequent service of this component.

      Or every 5 months, whichever occurs first.
