Timing Belt: Testing and Inspection

Carefully inspect the removed timing belt for any of the following defects. If any defects, even small ones, are found, replace the belt with a new one.

^ Wear
^ Cracking
^ Separation
^ Hardening
(Compare the belt with a new one to look for defects.)
