Description: Please correct the 1983 626 Workshop Manual, pages 5:20 and 21:16 and the Training Manual, page 5:1 with the following correction: (Revised sections are indicated by astericks)

NOTE: If the engine is fully warmed (engine coolant temperature in the normal operating range), it is not necessary to disconnect and plug the black-orange distributor vacuum line.

* The ignition timing for the Federal model is advanced an additional 6~ (12~ total at idle) when both of the following conditions are met:

1) Coolant temperature inside the radiator is above 17~ C.
2) Coolant temperature inside the intake manifold is below 50~ C.

* It is recommended that the black-orange distributor vacuum line on the Federal model be disconnected at the distributor and plugged to prevent incorrect ignition timing settings.
