DESCRIPTION

The door trim has been modified to provide more clearance between the inner lock vessel and door lock knob in order to prevent sticking or binding of the door lock knob. There is no change in part number.

MODIFICATION PROCEDURE

For vehicles produced before the production change, the following modification procedure can be used.

1. Remove the door trim.
2. Remove the inner lock vessel.
3. Cut the foam padding in the area shown to allow the door lock vessel to move in a side to side direction so as to prevent binding.

4. Spray lubricant onto the door lock linkages.
5. Install the door trim.
